Application Form

The Farm Business Apprentice is a competition-based opportunity focused on business proposals and industry mentoring, rather than an employment or apprenticeship placement.

This is NOT a full farm business proposal. It is an individual project proposal utilising the assets available at Fordton Farm.

Full cashflow depictions are NOT required, just a brief explanation of income and expenditure over the proposal’s duration.

Physical performance figures should be highlighted and justifiable along with input costs and sales revenue.

It will be assumed that all practical local sales markets are available (i.e.milk and poultry etc sale contracts are available).

Profit maximisation (i.e. bigger the project bigger the profit) is not the objective. Sustainable returns on investment (capital, time and farm resources) are the key criteria.
